Tim Tebow was solid, if unspectacular, in his debut as the starter for the Broncos.

Matt Flynn, filling in for the injured Aaron Rodgers, threw a scare into the Patriots.

Colt McCoy had his best performance of the season, and just misses the cut here.

Donald Brown had a career day including his first ever 100 yard rushing game.

The Saints were powerless to stop Ray Rice either on the ground or through the air.

Maurice Morris managed to outshine Jahvid Best this week.

Arian Foster had a terrible outing against the Titans, although in all fairness he is a little banged up.

The Raiders Darren McFadden, Marcel Reece and Michael Bush all had double digit fantasy points, but fail to make the cut here.

Vincent Jackson had the first 3 TD performance of his career.

Austin Collie had a solid game but was knocked out of the game with his second concussion of the season and could miss the Colts stretch run for the playoffs.

Jeremy Maclin outperformed DeSean Jackson big time (although Jackson scored the game winning TD on a punt return).

Percy Harvin returned after a 2 game absence.

Jimmy Graham appears to have solidified his position as the heir apparent in New Orleans.

Ed Dickson scored his first NFL touchdown and just misses the cut here.

San Diego was solid, allowing only 7 pts and recording 6 sacks, albeit against the lowly 49ers.

The Colts make a rare appearance on our top list this week.

Tops this week: Bears, Patriots, Falcons, Chargers, Jets, Colts, Chiefs, Panthers and Eagles.

Mike Williams, the Tampa Bay version, had a solid outing.

The Colts/Chiefs game turned out to be a battle of the kickers who together accounted for 78% of the scoring.

Josh Scobee had 5 FG’s and 3 extra points to help lead the Jags to victory and is now 10/10 in FG’s this year.

Rob Bironas has now hit seven straight from beyond 50 yds.

Graham Gano kicked the game winner in overtime for the Redskins and just misses the cut this week.

The Giants held the Texans vaunted rushing attack to a measly 24 yds.

With a minus score in most fantasy formats, the Rams have the unique distinction this week of scoring less points than the 4 teams that had a bye this week.

Tops this week were the Raiders, Lions, Cardinals, Falcons, Eagles, Bears, Jets, Bucs, Redskins and Titans.

Bottom feeders were the Chargers, Texans, Jags, Vikings, Cowboys, Broncos and Rams.

LaDainian Tomlinson

Arian Foster was in the coach’s doghouse in the first half for missing a team meeting, then ran wild in the second half.

Darren McFadden had more carries for the Raiders, but Michael Bush scored the lone rushing TD.

Laurence Maroney had a miserable 11 carries for 5 yds.

Who says LaDainian Tomlinson is over the hill.

LaSean McCoy didn’t contribute much on the ground but had solid value in PPR leagues.

Peyton Hillis was the only Browns RB to touch the ball in their upset of the Bengals.

Terrell Owens

T.O. showed there’s still some gas left in the tank as he leads our list this week.

Harry Douglas finally notched his first TD of the season, but just misses the cut here.

Lance Moore was the top wideout for New Orleans but also fails to make the cut.

Brandon Pettigrew

Joel Dreesen, better known for his blocking, was Houston’s top receiver this week.

Brandon Pettigrew had a better day then Tony Scheffler, but both were heavily involved in the passing game.

Evan Moore notched his first TD, but only had one catch.

Tony Gonzalez became the first TE in history to amass 12,000 yds receiving – a definite first ballot Hall of Famer!

Notable:

Antonio Gates – 7 rec, 144 yds, 2 TD’s

Zach Miller – 11 rec, 122 yds, 1 TD

Josh Scobee

Josh Scobee connected on a 59 yarder as time ran out in the Jags upset win over the Colts.

The 46 year old John Carney took over from Garrett Hartley in New Orleans due to the latter’s penchant for choking this season.

Matt Prater has made 27 of his last 28 FG attempts.

Tops this week were Jason Hanson, Matt Prater, Nate Kaeding, Stephen Gostkowski, Phil Dawson, Matt Bryant, Rob Bironas and John Carney.

Giants defense

The Giants had a monster game on defense, highlighted by their 10 sacks.

The Colts defense couldn’t get the job done and allowed the Jags to steal a win.

The Patriots special teams came up big and helped power them to an easy victory.

Top teams were the Patriots, Chargers, Giants, 49ers, Packers, Rams, Titans, Browns, Lions and Texans.

Bottom feeders were the Jags, Eagles, Dolphins, Colts, Raiders and Bills.
