The Colts are now the only winless team – they have been outscored by their opponents by 155 points. The Patriots turned the ball over four times (2 interceptions & 2 fumbles) and have now lost two straight. Sunday night was a good slobber-knocker between the Ravens and Steelers that went down to the wire with the Ravens emerging victorious.     QB’s Philip Rivers had three interceptions (2 went for touchdowns) for the first time in his career. Tim [...]

Detroit won on the road for the first time since 2007, ending the streak at 26 losses! The Patriots weakness on defense was exposed in a game they barely managed to win against the Packers rookie QB. Shocking news – the Panthers actually won a game (and so did the Bengals & Lions)!!! How ‘bout them Texans – you know you’re in trouble when you get a penalty for your players fighting with each other! QB’s After a slow start, [...]

The Bills scored 35 unanswered points for the win after spotting the Bengals to a big lead. Always fun to watch Peyton Manning & Tom Brady square off – it looked a bit one-sided for awhile in favor of the Pats, but the Colts fought back and a last minute interception cost them a chance to win or at least tie the game. Hmm, so the maybe the Raiders aren’t for real, and maybe the Steelers are? QB’s Ryan Fitzpatrick [...]

Finally, the end of the bye weeks, that bane of all fantasy owners existence! The Bills finally won their first game of the season, thus giving the Lions an NFL record 25 straight road losses (the last time they won on the road was Oct 2007). The Cowboys had a big win under new coach Jason Garrett as they spanked the Giants big time. QB’s Tim Tebow threw his first touchdown pass and ran one in as well. Troy Smith [...]

The NFL had an international flavor again as it was the Chicago Bears vs. the Toronto Bills The Browns were all over the Patriots like a bad rash. The Lions had the Jets on the ropes, but let them back in the game (due to a stupid penalty by Julian Peterson) and the Jets managed the win as the clock expired. QB’s Brett Favre had a career best 466 yards passing. Another solid performance for Matt Stafford, but he’s really [...]

It was the Broncos vs the 49ers in jolly old England in a game that had two Heisman winning quarterbacks. The Cowboys woes continue as they stunk the place up in that huge new stadium that is surpassed in size only by Jerry Jones ego. This was the first weekend with six teams on byes – combine that with injuries and lots of fantasy owners were tearing their hair out. The Rams cruised to their fourth straight victory. QB’s Troy [...]

Big upset with the Browns defeating the Saints, and the Bills gave the Ravens a scare but the Ravens managed to pull off the win in overtime. The Bengals scored 3 TD’s in 2:21 minutes, but it wasn’t enough as they fell to the Falcons. Chicago turned the ball over 6 times in large part because Jay Cutler mysteriously seemed convinced that DeAngelo Hall played for the Bears. Panthers won their first over the lowly 49ers, leaving the Bills as [...]

The Chiefs had the Texans on the ropes, but Houston came back with 2 TD’s in the final 3 ½ minutes to pull off a victory. The Dolphins had an overtime win against the Packers, and the Pats won in overtime in a cliffhanger vs the Ravens. The Bucs suffered a severe beating at the hands of the Saints. The Colts won in Washington for the first time in 43 years. The Cowboys fell to 1-4, and the 49ers finally [...]

The Chiefs finally lost one and the Lions finally won one. Big, big win for the Cardinals over the Saints. The Chargers are now 0-3 on the road. This is the first time in 40 years that no team is 4-0. The boo-birds were out in full force as the 49ers fell to 0-5. QB’s Sam Bradford had a less than stellar performance against the Lions. Todd Collins was terrible in relief of the injured Jay Cutler, but the Bears [...]

Those fickle fans in Philly actually gave Donovan McNabb a standing ovation on his return. With a lack of depth at RB, the Saints were barely able to eke out a win against the lowly Panthers. The Rams are division leaders in the NFC West!!! The 49ers tumbled to 0-4 in a close one with the Falcons. The Jags prevailed in a shocking win over the Colts. QB’s Michael Vick was knocked out of the game with a rib injury [...]
