Most leagues have their championship game in week 16, so if you are reading this, congrats on making it all the way to the championship game! Good owners always scour the waiver wire trying to improve their teams. You might need a player for only 1 week, and you could end up getting a player that helps you for the rest of the year. Here are six players that could help your fantasy team reach the promised land. Good luck! [...]

It’s here, it’s here! Yup for those lucky few of the good kids Championship week is coming up this weekend. Hopefully Santa brings you what you wanted and doesn’t leave you sitting with just a lump of coal. Some people are actually going to have championship week going through the next week, but for those who operate the same as the majority should be sure to put out their cookies and milk to keep the fat man jolly. Congrats on [...]

I love dynasty leagues. I love scouring for the next gem, recognizing that a certain player is starting his breakout or that a player is simply being undervalued or overlooked. For the 2011 version of going deep I am hopeful that we can cover a little bit of all these categories. As always… updated daily or better as news breaks My not-100%-obvious Week 15 studs: QB: Tim Tebow, Christian Ponder – He may or may not be your starting QB, but there aren’t many better options than Tebow this week. The Patriots allow passing yards like crazy, true that a lot come with a good lead, but they should find a lead this week too. Tebow is likely to end with 200+ yards and a TD or two passing. His rushing [...]

My initial plan in this week’s The Big Picture was to profile the worst three offensive lines and to try to figure out what went wrong. However, in looking over the Football Outsiders stats, it was hard to determine exactly which teams had the worst offensive lines. Based on their rushing statistics, the bottom five are the Lions, Rams, Chiefs, and Titans. Tennessee has the second best adjusted sack rate, which wasn’t a surprise to me. They have not done [...]

The Texans are headed to the playoffs for the first time in their history. The Steelers managed to win despite having a one legged quarterback. Mike Smith was taken off the Falcons team plane due to chest pain, but everything checked out okay. Todd Hailey was fired by the Chiefs, and likewise Tony Sparano by the Dolphins.     QB’s Joe Webb had a decent performance after Christian Ponder was yanked. Carson Palmer had a terrible outing throwing four picks. [...]
