As you can guess, based on the fact that it seemed tight ends went off the board with every other pick, it is a deep class. There is a good mix of upside and reliable contributors and while there is not a clear-cut future stud in the group, a host of guys should become fixtures on fantasy rosters. Jermaine Gresham highlights a very talented group of pass-catchers. 1 Jermaine Gresham (Cincinnati Bengals) – Cincinnati was serious about adding a weapon [...]

The 2009 rookie wide receiver class rewarded owners with immediate returns. The 2010 draft was stacked with defensive prospects, allowing teams employing all different kinds of schemes to stockpile their units with more talent. Conversely, 2011 looks like a great time to turn towards the offensive side of the ball. The skill positions – most notably quarterback and wide receiver – look stacked as we look ahead towards what 2011 may bring. Of course, a ton can change in a short period of time. At this point last year Jevan Snead [...]

Much like the past two years, the number one rookie running back is a matter of preference. You could go a number of different directions and nobody would bat an eye. The group is not particularly deep and may not have a guy who can develop into an RB1 for your fantasy squads, but there’s still some explosive talent at the top and some late-round guys who could make a fantasy impact before their career is over. 1 C.J. Spiller [...]

It is not a great year to have a rookie pick. The class is weak overall and really lacks the elite talent at the top that you’d like to see when you’re replenishing your roster. If possible, I’d advise you to sell off 2010 rookie picks and attempt to get premium picks for 2011 in return. That does not mean there isn’t talent available; we’ll try to navigate through the obvious studs and highlight some potential sleepers who should be [...]
