*Treat’s Take: Updated Daily!*

I maintain this article during the week. It is published Thursday (or earlier), but as we all know… fantasy news and updates don’t stop then. I will change players daily and leave new notes and updates in the box below the teams… so keep checking back.

If you have a specific question you would like answered, feel free to post them in our forums here. Posting in the forums will get you several points of view on your question. The more information given (your roster, ppr or not, how many players you start per postion, etc…), the better the response you will get.

Thursday – 8:20PM ET
AWAY
HOME

Peyton Manning
Joseph Addai
Donald Brown (inj)
Reggie Wayne
Austin Collie
Pierre Garcon
Dallas Clark

The Jags have a bottom 10 fantasy defense for fantasy purposes, so play your Colts with confidence for at least one more week.

David Garrard
Maurice Jones-Drew
Mike Sims-Walker
Torry Holt
Mercedes Lewis

The Jags always seem to play the Colts tight. In their week 1 matchup Sims-Walker was an afterthought. MSW has been shut down for two straight weeks. The Colts secondary doesn’t have the personel to shut him down, but they’ll probably shadow him with a safety. He’s become a riskier play.

Saturday – 8:20PM ET
AWAY
HOME
Tony Romo
Marion Barber
Tashard Choice
Felix Jones
Roy Williams
Miles Austin
Patrick Crayton
Jason Witten

This game might be one of those where Romo once again has to throw for 300+ yards in a losing effort. Romo and his passing game benefactors are a safe bet.

Drew Brees
Reggie Bush
Pierre Thomas
Mike Bell (inj)
Marques Colston
Robert Meachem
Devery Henderson
Jeremy Shockey

With Bush healthier and Bell banged up, Bush has seem more screens and carries. He has been an OK option the last two weeks and will probably find the redzone again this week.

Sunday – 1:00PM ET
AWAY
HOME
Jay Cutler
Matt Forte
Devin Hester (inj)
Johnny Knox
Earl Bennett
Greg Olsen

The way that Cutler is playing, it’s tough to trust this offense against the Ravens. The Ravens can shutdown the run and Cutler does his best to shutdown the passing game on his own, averaging less than 200 yards a game over the last 5 games.

Joe Flacco
Ray Rice
Willis McGahee
LeRon McClain
Derrick Mason
Kelley Washington
Mark Clayton
Todd Heap

Chicago lets up a 100 yards and/or a TD to almost every RB they face. Rice should have a giant game at home. They have, however, been fairly tough against fantasy WRs. Mason has been PPR gold in many weeks, but this week should be a tad tougher.

Sunday – 1:00PM ET
AWAY
HOME

Tom Brady
Laurance Maroney
Kevin Faulk
Benjarvis Green-Ellis
Sammy Morris
Fred Taylor (inj)
Randy Moss
Wes Welker
Julian Edelman

The Bills are surprisingly solid against the pass. That won’t stop Brady and Welker though. Brady and Moss will probably try to get Moss some numbers, if not only just to get people to stop jabbering about his giving up.

Ryan Fitzpatrick
Marshawn Lynch
Fred Jackson
Terrell Owens
Lee Evans

Jackson had a nice game last week but interestingly enough, Lynch took a ton of carries back and performed fairly well with them. Jackson should be used as a high end flex option.

Sunday – 1:00PM ET
AWAY
HOME
Kurt Warner
Tim Hightower
Chris Wells
Larry Fitzgerald
Anquan Boldin
Steve Breaston (inj)
Jerheme Urban

Fitz appears to be fine. Most dinged up players don’t practice on Wednesday, especially after a Monday night game. Fitz did. The Cards will look to put the loss to the 49ers behind them and put some distance on them with a nice win over the Lions.

Mathew Stafford (inj)
Daunte Culpepper
Maurice Morris
Calvin Johnson (inj)
Bryant Johnson
Brandon Pettigrew
Casey Fitzsimmons

Stafford looks like he’ll sit again this week. This will lead the Lions to play from behind leaning on Calvin Johnson and Maurice Morris. CJ2 had 12 targets last week but it only netted 37 yards. The targets should be about the same with better results this week.

Sunday – 1:00PM ET
AWAY
HOME

Matt Schuab
Arian Foster
Ryan Moats
Chris Brown
Andre Johnson
Kevin Walter
Jacoby Jones

Arian Foster was a big pickup this week and has a great matchup. Temper your expectations, but in a pinch he’s OK. He was productive in the passing game as well and that should only help.

Kyle Boller (inj)
Keith Null
Steven Jackson
Brandon Gibson
Donnie Avery (inj)
Danny Amendola

We don’t know which QB will start, but it’s not like you have them anyway and the WRs aren’t producing enough for you to be starting right now. In the last 4 weeks they have 1 TD and the best yardage game was 65 yards.

Sunday – 1:00PM ET
AWAY
HOME

Chad Henne
Ricky Williams
Ronnie Brown (inj)
Davone Bess
Ted Ginn
Greg Camarillo
Brian Hartline

For weeks now this site has talked about how improved the Titans secondary is now that they are healthy. It just wasn’t that clear. In the last 4 weeks, only Andre Johnson and Pierre Garcon have had 10+ point fantasy weeks. Henne isn’t Manning and if you combined the best features of all the Miami WRs you still couldn’t make an Andre Johnson. For note, Bess practiced. You shouldn’t have much confidence in the Dolphin WRs though. It’s tough to tell which one will have the big game, if any of them do.

Vince Young
Chris Johnson
LenDale White
Jevon Ringer
Justin Gage (inj)
Nate Washington
Kenny Britt

Miami now has the priviledge of trying to stop CJ4.24. Good luck with that. Gage is back now, but being worked in slowly. Young has more of a report with Britt and has more big play potential right now.

Sunday – 1:00PM ET
AWAY
HOME
Brady Quinn
Jerome Harrison
Chris Jennings
Mike Furrey
Mohamed Massaquoi
Brian Robiskie
Chanci Stuckey

If, and this is a big risky if, the Browns go with Jennings like the did last week (after Harrison proved ineffective)… then Jennings may be worthy of a low end flex play. His risk makes him low end, his matchup make him intriguing.

Matt Cassel
Jamaal Charles
Kolby Smith
Dwayne Bowe
Chris Chambers
Bobby Wade
Lance Long
Mark Bradley

Bowe returns from suspension this week and he should pay big dividends for all the teams that smartly stashed him just for this game. This was the only decent matchup on Bowe’s schedule left when he got suspended.

Sunday – 1:00PM ET
AWAY
HOME

Matt Ryan (inj)
Chris Redman
Michael Turner (inj)
Jason Snelling
Jerious Norwood
Roddy White
Michael Jenkins
Tony Gonzalez

Turner is looking to be a game time decision, but hasn’t practiced yet this week. With Ryan and Turner out, or GTDs at best, Gonzo and White will continue to be leaned on. Jenkins had one play that made his fantasy day worth it last week. Don’t expect that this week. With White undoubtedly to be shadowed by Revis, you should sadly bench him. Revis is that good. The Jets also have a pretty solid run D.

Mark Sanchez (inj)
Kellen Clemens
Thomas Jones
Shonn Greene
Jerricho Cotchery
Braylon Edwards
David Clowney
Dustin Keller

Sanchez might play this week, but it matters not. The QB and WR positions for the Jets haven’t done much lately. Only 1 TD in the last 4 weeks and no WR has even had a 70 yard game. Thomas Jones on the other hand, has far exceeded his draft spot and should be solid for more nice numbers again this week.

Sunday – 1:00PM ET
AWAY
HOME
Alex Smith
Frank Gore
Glen Coffee
Josh Morgan
Isaac Bruce
Michael Crabtree
Vernon Davis

If the 49ers stick to the plan of getting Gore 20+ carries, he is a nice start most weeks. He’s the kind of back that will find fantasy points with that many carries. Crabtree has now entered solid WR3-land.

Donovan McNabb
Michael Vick
Brian Westbrook (inj)
LeSean McCoy
Jeremy Maclin (inj)
Desean Jackson (inj)
Jason Avant
Brent Celek

With Maclin out this week, Avant should see a lot more action. Jackson should also be good to go and is unbenchable. McCoy has not really taken over this team the way that people thought and definitely not like Westy did. They pass more to compensate for Westy’s absence. Weaver’s increased role also hurts McCoy. Shady is a risky play right now.

Sunday – 4:05PM ET
AWAY
HOME

Charlie Frye
Darren McFadden
Michael Bush
Justin Fargas
Darrius Heyward-Bey (inj)
Chaz Schilens
Louis Murphy
Johnny Lee Higgins
Zach Miller

Why bother. With the shared carries at RB, Miller’s concussion at TE, Frye at QB… this team is a fantasy wasteland of risk.

Kyle Orton
Knowshon Moreno
Correll Buckhalter (inj)
Brandon Marshall
Eddie Royal (inj)
Jabbar Gaffney
Brandon Stokley
Tony Scheffler

It appears that Bucky will be out, leaving a giant door open for Moreno and Marshall to have decent games. It’s impossible to bench Marshall, Moreno taking almost all carries makes him a safe play as well.

Sunday – 4:05PM ET
AWAY
HOME

Carson Palmer
Cedric Benson
Chad OchoCinco
Laveranues Coles
Andre Caldwell

All of a sudden Palmer can’t pass. Yeah, the Vikings have a very solid defense that disrupts the QB and they had their star corner back. However, last week’s 94 yard effort was just the latest. He is averaging well beow 200 yards in the last 5 and only 3 TDs. He seems to still fin Chad, making Chad and Cedric the only fantasy guys worth anything in Cincy.

Phillip Rivers
LaDainian Tomlinson
Darren Sproles
Vincent Jackson
Malcolm Floyd
Antonio Gates

Leon Hall put on a clinic last week and will probably be on VJax this week. VJax should still be in your lineup unless you have some very good WRs or matchups, but his day should be quieter.

Sunday – 4:15PM ET
AWAY
HOME
Aaron Rodgers
Ryan Grant
Greg Jennings
Donald Driver
James Jones
Jordy Nelson
Jermichael Finley

Grant had pretty much a career day last week aided by one very long run. He runs into a tougher run D this week. The Bears barely attempt to tackle people this year. The Steelers had allowed an average of 280 passing yards and 2 TDs per game in the 3 games before the Browns game. Rodgers should have no problem finding his way to those numbers.

Ben Roethlisberger
Rashard Mendenhall
Santonio Holmes
Hines Ward (inj)
Mike Wallace
Heath Miller

Holmes is taking over some of the return duties, which makes you wonder if he’ll miss some offensive snaps. It’s not much of a concern, more of a notation. Mende will play more passing downs now and that makes him pretty much unbenchable.

Sunday – 4:15PM ET
AWAY
HOME

Josh Freeman
Cadillac Williams
Ernest Graham
Derrick Ward
Michael Clayton
Sammie Stroughter
Antonio Bryant
Kellen Winslow Jr.

No. Winslow has just ONE TD in the last 8 weeks. He’s the only startable Buc and he is averaging a decieving 50 yards per game over the last 8 games. Here are those yardage games: 29, 9, 57, 102, 29, 81, 69, 26. You might get a good game, but you just as much of a chance at a 2 point fantasy day. Seattle is in the middle of the pack vs TEs (18th)… so that really doesn’t help.

Matt Hasselbeck
Julius Jones
Justin Forsett
Nate Burleson
TJ Houshmandzadeh
Deion Branch
John Carlson

Hasselbeck isn’t on the injury report. He’s not the safest play this week as the Bucs have shut down recent QBs, allowing an average os less than 200 yards passing in the last 5. Even Brees only had 187. Forsett and Jones split evenly last week. If they do that again it could be fantasy death to both. Hass spread the ball around to the tune of 30-50 yards each last week. This team spreads the weath enough to make most of the players worthless.

Sunday – 8:20PM ET
AWAY
HOME
Brett Favre
Adrian Peterson
Chester Taylor
Bernard Berrian
Percy Harvin
Sidney Rice
Visanthe Shiancoe

By now you know what to expect from Favre, AD, Shiancoe, and Rice. Harvin appears like he’ll play this week. Last week’s last minute inactive will have fantasy owners worrying. His game has been moved to Sunday night, making sure owners have to make the call early. Keep an eye on it… but it’s week 2 of the fantasy playoffs for nearly all leagues and you may want to take the less risky option if Harvin is questionable.

Jake Delhomme (inj)
Matt Moore
Jonathan Stewart (inj)
DeAngelo Williams
Steve Smith
Mushin Muhammed
Dwayne Jarrett
Jeff King

The Vikings defense can shutdown the run. They have only allowed 3 rushing TDs this year and only 1 redzone rushing TD. Last year they gave up 2 to Jstew. This year he is hurt. Williams got you here, so don’t think about benching him unless you have a couple stud backs.

Monday – 8:30PM ET
AWAY
HOME
Eli Manning
Brandon Jacobs
Ahmad Bradshaw (inj)
Danny Ware (inj)
Gartrell Johnson
Mario Manningham
Steve Smith
Hakeem Nicks
Kevin Boss

Steve smith didn’t get a TD last week, but he was easily the most targeted WR for the Giants. The Redskins have a very solid D. Don’t expect a huge day out of anybody for the Giants, but Smith is the safe one.

Jason Campbell
Clinton Portis (inj)
Rock Cartwright
Quinton Ganther
Antwaan Randel El
Santana Moss
Devin Thomas
Fred Davis

Ganther and Davis proved themselves last week and will probably be getting some nods this week. It was only one week and this is a Monday night game. There are reservations with Ganther, but with Rock in the doghouse, who else is going to tote it? He’s a safe flex play.
